Belgian online banking under attack by Trojans (again)
On 18.08.2011 Belgian media reported trojan hits online banking systems (again) : various media reported about recent discoveries of online banking clients that had been targetted, using their multi-factor authentication mechanisms as ways to enter their system.
In principle online banking users should install on their local machines Security Suites by McAfee, GData, AVG, Microsoft, ... that prevent most trojans from being installed. Besides, online banking users should be always cautious and watch out for strange activities on their machines.
