LSEC and MediaNet Vlaanderen have organized an event on the current evolutions of digital content distribution in the Media and other sectors. The impact of broadband networks, and the evolution towards high definition quality audio and video have had an immediate effect on the way contents of media companies are currently being imagined, created, produced and distributed. In the enterprise and governmental sector expectations the flow of electronic data and digital information are probably few steps behind, but evolving in the same direction. Another paradigm is the increased influence from the media consumer, who’s becoming producer and distributor of digital contents.
During this seminar, some of those evolutions will be presented with the objective for participants to better understand the potential business impact on the near term and future.
