Government collects loads of data, but when introduced to the idea of providing access to that information to the public, that’s a cultural change. Why would citizens want to know? People are getting a lot more agile. Applications and informations are being built from the network up, such as the City Bike Hire ... The idea is to release data into public sphere, for people to use!
