Celadon Hailstone Biometrics is opgericht in 1999, door een groep van jonge software & automatisatie ontwikkelaars. De ontwikkelingen rond biometrie waren nog maar in een pril en vroeg stadium, wanneer CHB het eerste volautomatische, biometrisch gestuurd toegangssysteem, BION, voor onbemande solaria op de markt bracht.

CHB was opgericht als een biometrisch technologie adviesbureel voor bedrijven dewelke biometrische identificatiesystemen wensten te implementeren. De onderneming haar originele missie bestond erin klanten verder te helpen om het bestaande gat te dichten rond de theoretische kennis van biometrie en de praktische applicatie. CHB voegde later een eigen biometrische productlijn in soft- en hardware toe aan haar diensten, met de bedoeling om ook gemakkelijker in de specifieke behoeften van haar klanten te kunnen voorzien. Dit gaf eveneens de mogelijkheid om een volledige schaal van biometrische producten en diensten aan te bieden.

In januari 2010 heeft CHB haar internationale verkoop- en distributiestructuur klaar, om de verdere ontwikkeling van haar internationaal netwerk te ondersteunen. CHB Belgium zal functioneren als regionale verkoopafdeling, distributie- en support hub voor Europa.

Vandaag is Celadon Hailstone Biometrics een uniek contactpunt voor iedereen die een keuze heeft gemaakt voor integratie of ontwikkeling van biometrisch gestuurde systemen. CHB is zeer toegewijd aan de groei en expansie van de biometrische industrie en is daardoor continu bezig aan de verdere ontwikkeling van nieuwe en innovatieve applicaties en producten voor toepassing in sectoren zoals beveiliging, banken, voorraadbeheer, kleinhandel POS, toerisme. Door de snelle groei van de globale beveiligingsnoodzaak wordt het een uitdaging voor de biometrische identificatie-industrie om te voldoen aan deze eisen. YBi Basic, the little brother in the YBi family…

It’s the perfect and easy alternative for the classic door lock with key. A simple scan of your finger opens your door, gate or garage.

The YBi Basic is designed for internal and external use. It even recognises wet fingers. With invisible tip keys one scanner allows you to control 2 relays, each activating an application you chose. An alarm function is standard, sending a silent signal to an external centre if necessary.

The scanner (external unit) and the black box (internal unit), connected through a UTP connection, are easy to install. No network knowledge is needed. Plug it in and the system starts automatically. All data are encrypted, your safety is our concern!
