Certipost is a market leader in solutions to facilitate and certify electronic communications. The company offers organisations high-end solutions to reduce costs, improve customer service and increase efficiency via electronic communications.
Certipost enables organisations to communicate electronically with any customer, citizen, supplier and public institution, by automating inbound and outbound information flows, streamlining document exchange, and by securing and certifying electronic communications. Furthermore, Certipost is supplier of the digital certificates within the Belgian electronic identity card (eID). Certipost offers solutions enabling electronic invoicing, document exchange within the supply chain, e-government with social security and customs, electronic registered mail, electronic security, electronic counters, and the use of the electronic identity card within organisations.
Company milestones
In 2002, the Belgian Post Group and Belgacom decided to deploy their internet services in a 50/50 joint venture. The joint venture specialises in secured electronic communications, e-Government applications and other security services and products via the Internet. Within Certipost, you�ll find Belgacom�s E-Trust activities and the services of the Belgian Post Group (BPG), formerly known as Postbox. Belgacom delivered the E-Trust Certification Authority, the instrument for the creation and management of digital certificates. The Belgian Post Group delivered the Postbox platform - now known as MyCertipost.

Influenced by market trends and new developments, e-business specialist Aditel was acquired in September 2002, and digital rights management specialist Info2Clear-SecureAttachment was acquired in October 2004. Johan Vinckier, member of the management committee of �De Post�, is Chairman of the Board. Certipost has its headquarters in Erembodegem (Belgium), and has offices in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), and Paris (France).
